David Cohune

Dave’s passion for the Central Coast took hold three decades ago and he considers himself fortunate to live and work in San Luis Obispo County, doing what he loves and helping others realize their home ownership and investment goals. A lifelong sales professional and licensed Realtor, Dave brings a thoughtful, consultative approach to every client relationship, with a commitment to excellent service, high integrity, and attention to detail. Born in London and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dave and his family have made the Central Coast home for nearly 20 years.

After graduating from Cal Poly Dave’s sales career originated in the Silicon Valley’s enterprise software industry where his professional sales acumen took root. When he and his family returned to San Luis Obispo in 2005 he put his sales skills to use in support of his alma mater, raising philanthropic support for Cal Poly, and as a Lecturer in the Orfalea College of Business’s Sales Minor program.

An exceptionally connected professional and seasoned negotiator Dave brings his customer-centric approach to both buyers and sellers.

When Dave isn’t serving clients he is outdoors enjoying all that the Central Coast offers –sailing, golf, biking, or hiking with his dog Howie– and spending time with his wife, Ellen, and their three grown children.
